This year’s Ryder Cup teams were called the Blue Angels (Captain Lisa Sunkes) and the Red Devils (Captain Linda Doody).  As usual the opening ceremonies included mimosas, bagels and lots of singing and antics.  Day 1 had 30 participants and the Blue Angels took the lead.  Day 2, we picked up a couple more ladies, so we had 32 golfers making even foursomes.  The Blue Angels prevailed and won 30.5 over 17.5.  The numbers don’t demonstrate the close matches that happened – everyone played pretty well.

Thanks for all the help from Pat Mayne, Sue Nardolillo, Ellen Kattleman and all the ladies who pitched in (with their pitchforks) and said a heavenly prayer for good weather.  And a thanks to Yvette and her crew for preparing Saturday’s snacks and Sunday’s dinner.
